Who we are
Social Care is a Cox's Bazar-based humanitarian organisation and ground implementation partner for Islamic charities worldwide. We deliver water wells, masjids, food aid, Qurbani, shelter and education projects for Rohingya refugees and the marginalised host communities around them, and return full documentation of every project to the organisation that funded it.
Our team lives and works in Cox's Bazar. We are not a crowdfunding platform: charity organisations, foundations and individual donors abroad fund the work, and we implement it on the ground — with no sub-contracting and no middlemen.

What we do
We work across eight programme areas, each costed in USD for partner organisations:
- Water & Sanitation — tubewells from $100, deep water wells from $650
- Food & Emergency Relief — hot meals from $1.20, family food packages $15
- Mosque & Religious Projects — camp masjids from $2,400, Qur'an distribution
- Orphan & Child Care — monthly sponsorship and baby formula support
- Education — our flagship Magic Board School for 120 street children
- Health & Medical — medicine support for elderly people
- Shelter & Livelihood — camp shelters and permanent homes
- Seasonal Campaigns — Ramadan, Qurbani and winter support
How we work with partner organisations
- You tell us what you want to deliver. A project type, a budget, or a full programme plan — Social Care welcomes any plan for the wellbeing of the ummah.
- We cost it and propose a pilot. You receive itemised costs in USD and a suggested first project, often a single tubewell or a food distribution.
- Funds arrive in our registered NGO account. Banking details and registration documents are shared directly with partner organisations.
- Our team implements on the ground. Single projects such as a tubewell are usually completed within 5 days of funds arriving.
- You receive the full report. Dated photographs, video from the site, the location, beneficiary details and receipts — ready for your own donors and trustees.

Where we work
Our core operations are in Cox's Bazar district: the marginalised host communities of Cox's Bazar Sadar and the surrounding areas, and inside the Rohingya refugee camps of Ukhiya and Teknaf. For projects elsewhere in Bangladesh, we confirm access, feasibility and costs before accepting the work.
Executive Committee
Social Care is governed by a seven-member Executive Committee, reconstituted in 2026. Each programme area is run day to day by a dedicated programme coordinator.
